In Reception this week, we have had Ducklings in to visit!
We have had 7 ducklings - (2 Call Ducks, 4 Indian Runner Ducks and 1 Appleyard Duck).
We have learnt about the life cycle of a duck, what they look and feel like, what they have on their bodies and why, what they need to stay fit and healthy and what we need to do in order to be good duckling carers!
We have watched them sleep, eat, poop, wash and swim. The children have loved having them in our classroom as it has provided them with first-hand experience and enriched their learning this week.
